On 27 September, I was at the Optimhome stand for the L’Isle-Adam Cycling Grand Prix. It was a day to cheer on the riders and meet local residents. On Sunday, 27 September 2026, I joined my Optimhome colleagues at the cycling event in L’Isle-Adam’s Nogent neighbourhood. It was an opportunity to step out of the office, support local community life and take the time to connect with people. **Sport brings people together** A sporting event brings a neighbourhood to life. Around the race, neighbours, families and visitors gather to cheer on the riders and enjoy time together. These events also offer an opportunity to meet the people who keep our community thriving: residents, local shopkeepers, volunteers and professionals. **Conversations at the Optimhome stand** Together with Carole Brevet and Kéomany Sely, I welcomed visitors to our stand and chatted with them. Property naturally comes up in conversation, but these encounters are, above all, a chance to get to know one another. A project can begin with a question, a conversation or a connection we return to later. This is an aspect of my work that I particularly enjoy: meeting residents in a friendly setting and being someone they can easily approach. **Local connections grow through involvement** Based in Nesles-la-Vallée, I also work in the surrounding towns and villages. Taking part in these events helps me get to know the people and community life in the area where I support my clients. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us, and to those who help make these local events happen. I look forward to seeing you at another local event!
